Emily Swank, LCSW

Whether you define your present need as big or small, I am here to help and look forward to taking this journey with you. Together we can work to develop or rebuild the skills necessary to improve or cope with life's past and present stressors. Before we dive in, I spend the first sessions really getting to know you and uncovering what you hope to gain by coming to therapy. We will take the next steps at your pace in a safe, empathetic space.
I am a fully licensed clinical social worker with 12 years of experience in addressing mental health and behavioral health needs. I am skilled in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am able to work with an array of issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, crisis management, and childhood disorders.
I operate from a collaborative, strengths-based, and solution-focused approach. I would describe myself as warm, friendly, open-minded, and person-centered. My overall style is eclectic wherein I am able to utilize different treatment modalities that are best suited for the individual's, couple's, or family's needs.
