Jamie Hallman, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate, and I’m committed to supporting adults who have experienced trauma, college students struggling to adjust to campus life, and autistic adults who are navigating late diagnosis. I utilize a combination of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe everyone has a unique experience and deserves care tailored to their individual needs.
I support trauma survivors in finding freedom from their intrusive symptoms and regaining power over their life. This is done through EMDR, an evidenced based trauma therapy that promotes healing by integrating traumatic memories in a healthier way leading to reduced PTSD symptoms and lasting change. Trauma can have complex effects on every area of life. Together, we can effectively process past traumatic experiences, reduce their emotional impact, and help you build a brighter future.
I’m passionate about supporting suspecting or late-diagnosed autistic adults who are struggling to adjust to their diagnosis. Late diagnosed autism can present unique challenges related to relationships, sensory sensitivities, and self-identity. I utilize a collaborative approach to identify the tools and resources needed to help you accept and accommodate your needs.
I also specialize in treating college students who are struggling with anxiety and depression. Adjusting to college life brings academic and social pressures that can be difficult to navigate alone. Through self-discovery, overcoming limiting beliefs, and self-esteem building, I can help you find your footing in this new phase of life.
